Vail Valley Cup 2010

The boys getting hyped up before the game!

The 3rd place boys!!! They did such a great job playing their hearts out even after the loss in the semifinals. The semis were a heartbreaker, coming done to penalty kicks with Aidan in the goal. He did an amazing job, saving 2. It was his first shoot out like that, and the boys were devestated they lost, but they came back in the runner-up game and we were all so proud of them all!

Air and Space Museum

Wright Brothers' Plan

More DC photos! The boys loved this museum too, especially Aidan. He could have spent much more time here then the morning we spent. Katina was a wonderful tour guide!

US Postal Museum

This was a pretty cool museum in DC. The Postal Museum was really quiet and was a wealth of information about the history of the postal service in the US. It also had a whole section on the US Postal Inspectors, so the boys thought that was really cool. No pictures of Daddy, but they did have fun walking through that particular section. They also had airplanes and a whole bunch of rare stamps.

Chicago Lakes

Hiking the Chicago Lakes Trail.  We didn't make it all the way up to the lakes, but that will be on our to do list for next summer!

Breckenridge

Breckenridge is such a pretty ski town. Even in the summer, there are many tourists here, taking in the beautiful mountain views and the kitchy shops they have!

Loveland Pass at almost 12,000 feet above sea level.

12 Dancing Princesses

Collin, this summer, tried out theater camp. It was one week long, with camp everyday from 10-3. He LOVED it! At the end of the week he was in a play they put together during the camp. He played Prince 1 and Prince Andrew. He had 4 lines, remembered all of them and was loud enough that the audience could hear him! He did an amazing job! We were so incredibly proud of him!

Summer Swim Team

Aidan's Favorite Stroke-Breaststroke
Killing time during a meet-always includes Pop Tarts!
Some freestyle!

Aidan did a great job this summer on swim team. He took a bunch of time off all of his events. He almost made the all-stars time in the 50 breast, and he placed 2nd in the breast at Championships! He swam the 100 free, 100 IM, 50 back, 50 free and 50 breast this summer! And to top it all off he won the coaches award at the swim banquet!
