Christmas Craziness

Aidan loves anything Italian!!!
Collin got a new bike, which he thought was the coolest-its a Tony Hawke bike!
Cute Brothers Christmas morning! Santa did a great job bringing them webkinz. Collin even named his black dog Claire, so we could remember Claire always!
Opening even more presents. The boys had a lot of fun opening and playing with all the new presents. They still have not played with everything they got. Aidan got an ipod, lots of WII games, and a dock for his ipod. Collin not only got his bike, lots of WII games too and Bakugan. The funniest was watching the whole family try to play Outdoor game for WII and trying to Kayak!

Our Snowflake

Collin also had his Christmas program the last week of school. He was a snowflake and he did a great job singing. He has been practicing Oh Christmas Tree for weeks now. He like to tell me that him and his friend Sophia were the only two kids to sing the song right. The two of them would sing eternal and the rest of the class would sing turtle. It annoyed him to no end that the rest of the class would not sing it right!!! He does have a little bit of that Type A personality in him!!!

Parker Carriage Parade

Every year Parker holds a carriage parade at Christmas time. Parker tries to keep that small town, horse town feel by having this parade every year. Horses and carriages from all over Colorado come out for the parade which winds its way through downtown Parker. They also have the High School marching bands in the parade along with Miss Colorado and other participants. The cool thing is that they stage a lot of the carriages a couple blocks from our house, so when we walk from our house to downtown, we pass all of the carriages-its like a pre-parade!

Aidan and Collin watching for the next carriage!
A view of the parade-it almost looks Norman Rockwell!
Santa and Mrs Claus-the last carriage of the parade!
Aidan and Collin standing in front of a horse that costs more then both our cars put together. Someone said this horse is worth $40,000!!! Yes that is right!

Violin Concert

Aidan, Collin and Rob had their violin concert also this week. Actually Rob had two, one for LTSO and one with the boys. Collin played Jingle Bells this year and he did a really great job. He is liking the violin more and more. I think part of it is because he gets to learn more songs. I don't think he really liked learning the Twinkles! Aidan is also doing really well. He is still really serious when he plays-note the picture. He is going to try a Fiddle competition coming up soon, so we will see how he likes that!!!
Rob trying to be as out of the way as possible. The boys love it when he plays in their concert!
Collin is almost as serious as his daddy and brother!!!

Choir Concert

So Aidan was able to give choir a try this year. He had a lot of fun with all of his friends and he really liked the singing too. The 1st-3rd graders sang music from the Nutcracker, and Aidan and two of his friends were Russian Dancers. The 3 of them did a great choreographed dance. It was very cute and very funny!! Aidan is the middle Russian Dancer!!!

And Aidan is a much better singer then his mom-Thanks Goodness, since I tried out for choir in the 4th grade and was the only one not to make it. And yes I am still scarred from that!
