Halloween!!!

Indiana Jones and the Manchester United Red Devil!
Aidan's favorite soccer team is the Manchester United Red Devils. They are a soccer team in England and so he decided to be the mascot. Although there were many people out there who commented that he was the bailout devil (the AIG on his shirt) which gave us a good chuckle!
Collin was Indiana Jones. He was so particular about his costume, he had to have the right bag, hat and whip. Although in this picture we thought he looked a lot like Josh Berstein from the history channel! Both boys had a great time tonight getting a lot of candy. And they did get a lot of candy! Collin also had his class party today, including a pumpkin patch, carnival and classroom party! Lots of fun for both boys, who are now fast asleep!

Model Rockets

For Collin's birthday this year he got a model rocket from a friend. So Daddy and Collin have been putting it together and today was launch day!! All the boys were very excited to launch both rockets (another one came with the launcher).

I was mostly excited to use my new camera (a Nikon D40 SLR). There is no pause when I press the shutter so I was able to get these really cool shots of the rockets lifting off. And the soccer pictures we can get now, I don't have to anticipate the shot anymore.

The boys had so much fun pressing the ignition button and chasing after the rocket when it fell back to earth. Next time we will have to measure how high the rockets go (Aidan's request).

Grandpa

Grandpa came and visited us a couple of weeks ago. The boys had fun showing off their soccer skills and their violin playing and their schools to Grandpa.

Fish Finally

So here are the long awaited fish pictures from our trip to North Dakota. Aidan caught a northern pike that was almost as tall as him. Since this picture we have consummed said pike and it was delicious, even the boys said so!!

Rob even got in on the fishing action with his own impressive catch!!! The boys (Papa, Rob and Aidan) all had a great day on the boat!!
