Aidan had his first soccer game today. He is playing with Real Colorado, a little bit more serious soccer organization. And he is loving it. He is so intense and singularly focused at practice and there is no stopping him when it comes to game time. He was up by 6:30 this morning and when we told him to go back to bed he only stayed there for 30 more minutes. When I came down stairs he was already in his uniform ready to go, and his game wasn't until 9:15!!
He also scored his first goal today. It was a great play with a beautiful pass from a teammate and all Aidan had to do was tap it in. If you can't tell this is a picture of the goal, his follow through and the ball is in the net! He also had an assist, a great centering pass to another teammate. There were a bunch of other goal chances that just did not make it into the net, but he had a great game!
This is Aidan's new team, they won their first game today 5-0!!!
